Outside the private turquoise walls of Betseyville you can find pretty much anything you would want to do on vacation….including fine dining, water sports, shopping and all night salsa dancing. In my village you won’t find much excitement outside the convenience store, but you will find

Zihuatanejo (www.zihuatanejo.net) (where Andy goes at the end of Shawshank Redemption) is the happening tourist town 25 minutes from Betseyvill with all the “big city” attractions, including:
• fine dining (my favorite place is Il Mare)
• tourist shopping
• Great sport fishing
• major dancing
• real deal Mexican markets

Troncones is the hip bohemian Mexican town with MAJOR suring…it is only 35-45 minutes from Betseyville
